Printed Letterheads
Printed letterheads are another way of helping you to create a great first impression. By using printed letterheads, you can express the identity and professionalism of your organisation before the recipient is even read one word in your letter. Considering that the top of letters are otherwise usually blank, it's incredible to think that some organisations don't actually use printed letterheads.
Things to consider
As with all advertising, you need to consider what it is that you're trying to say with your printed letterhead. Consider your audience and think about what they will gain from seeing your letterhead. Would inspire confidence in your company or organisation? Does it conveyed, who you are and what you do?
A great use of space
More than just adding your logo to your letterhead, you could take the opportunity to make better use of the available space. For example, you could list two or three of the products or services that you provide, in a small box to one side of the letterhead. You could also add your slogan to make your company's interests immediately identifiable. If you have won many awards or accreditations, then you could also add these logos to your letterhead to instil confidence in your achievements.
Information
Your printed letterhead should also include information about your company so that the recipient can easily find out how to contact you. Details including your organisation's name, address, phone, fax, e-mail, Web address and possibly even your registered company number, should ideally be on every single page that you send out.
