Magnetic Roof Signs

Typically found on the tops of taxis and motoring school cars, magnetic roof signs can be a quick, easy and cheap way of advertising your organisation with your own vehicle. Easily attached and removed within just a few seconds, magnetic roof signs can be a great way of temporarily using your own car or van to advertise during business use.

How much does it cost?

Depending on whether or not you want to have text or graphics on your sign and interior illumination, the price can usually range from £50 to £150.

Will the sign damage my car?

Many manufacturers supply their magnetic roof signs with a thin film that can be placed between the sign and your vehicle to add an extra layer of protection.

How are they made?

Magnetic rooftop signs are usually manufactured from a plastic, that has been formed within a vacuum mould to produce a durable and weather resistant box that sits on the roof of your car or van. The sign is fixed to the roof of your vehicle with one or more strong magnets that ensure that the sign will stay on, even during high speeds.

 

Illumination

To attract even more attention to your advertising, many magnetic roof signs also include internal illumination so that your site can be lit up during the day or night. These internal illumination systems are usually powered by a thin electrical cable, that connects to the cigarette lighter of your vehicle.

Text and graphics.

Many manufacturers enable you to add both graphics and text to your signs, but you often pay a premium for printing the graphics.
